Went to Karachi Bakery today. To my surprise, the price of everething was just double compared to other bakeries or stores. Cashew nuts\kg is 600 Rs. when it is around 300 Rs. in any kirana stores or other super markets. A chocolate pastrie would cost you 50 Rs. This is the minimum price that you should pay if you want to buy one. The maximum went up to 125 Rs (chocolate truffle) (Info: you can buy one in almond house for just rs. 25, the freshest and the most tastiest!).
But, sadly, there were quite a few people (rich pple I should mention) buying cakes, nuts and other stuff.
I think we should ban such stores. It is so silly of us to buy in there. This is absolutely intolerable. Who gives them rights to put prices of their own?
