Evolution, is it?

All in all you were all just bricks in the wall.
Don't think I need anything at all
We don't need no education
We don't need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.

The world thinks achieving awards, degrees and a high paying job is the bravest thing they can do. What they don't know is people like you, who have suffered, survived and risen through horrifying times are the true soldiers. More power to you Ethan, and more power to your sister, for she needs it more. Brave souls both of you, you are an inspiration to all out there. Don't you give up, keep fighting. You have a great life ahead, both of you ! Love !

I think I always believed in myself. But, I have been a little less ambitious I feel. You know in India, it's a pride if you are working in a s\w company with good enough salary. Pple think that you achieved something great already but, it's nothing. It's nothing great to be proud of!
Girl child was never thought to Dream Big. She was always thought to finish her graduation and to get married. That is her agenda of Life. That is how a woman should be (at least in my family and i believe this happens in at least 50% of the families in India)
I think a little bit has changed but, there is a long way to go to be like developed nations. Women have always been over-protective. I remember and recollect so many instances where I was asked to put bindhi for a family function and I was threatened and teased for not putting bindhi. My brother used to call me Ms. Mary and things like that. I remember one of my dearest friends saying "whats wrong in being Ms. Mary?!" It sought of made me realized that yeah..how true!
I can't just name one. There were several of them like this.

How to make sweet potato and cauliflower curry? I made it today, It turned out excellent!
So, let us look at the way it is made. Please strictly follow the below rules.
And, follow the below steps in the order it is written.
1) Take 1 big sweet potato and 1/4 cauliflower - chop these in medium size or a little smaller and keep it aside.
2) Take half onion - finely chop it and keep it aside.
2) Take a non-stick pan..put 3 full table spoons oil. After 2 mins put finely chopped onions. Stir it. Oil should be hot enough, now put a pinch of cloves or Lavangam powder, put a pinch of ilayachi powder. Stir it. After a few seconds, put turmeric powder 1/4 tablespoon. Curry paththa powder 1/4 tablespoon and stir it.
3) After a few secs put finely chopped sweet potato and stir it well.
4) Put enough salt and stir it.. so that sweet potato cooks faster.
5) Stir regularly. After 10 mins, put finely chopped cauliflower (coz this cooks faster than sweet potato). Stir it well.
6) After a min or so, put half a table spoon of mirchi powder.
7) Stir it at regular intervals until you think it is cooked.

Since I do not have anyone to share with, let me say it here..I started to cook really well. Now, I kinda know as to how to cook well. Earlier, it was simple dishes (only i could at mostly). But, now it's diff. I can cook delicious dishes :)
For a dish to turn out well, it needs concentration, right way of doing it, interest and respect.
If you don't show respect, it doesn't respect you. It wont turn out good.

I love you, US (this is true for most of the developed countries). I respect you! Salute you!
You show the path, you show the way, you show everything. Just keep directing me. Just keep showing me the path like a well wisher, like a friend, like a lover..
Just so you know, I knew this 10 years ago when I consciously started to like Music. But, being here is entirely different.
Oh I remember! Oh I remember! How I watched those concerts until late and when I had final exams.
How I loved Rock, How I loved Pop, How I loved Hip-Hop...How I loved everything...as long as it's Music!

How organized it is! How organized I am getting!
Oh God! How I knew..How I knew before..How I knew this is a great place to live..
How I saw things pple never saw
Oh my God! How I knew How I knew...
All those barriers and shackles in front of me! Cannot forgive those evil people...

I checked my mail 10 times
To see if you emailed back
But, I never got a mail
I never got a mail
I never got a mail
I never got a mail

All my love drained
All my love didn't matter
All my love went vain
Past soon forgotten
Past was never there
I am supposed to not love you
I am supposed to act happy
I am supposed to do to good in life
But, I know I am sad.
I know you will not talk to me like before
I know things will not be the same
There is no love anymore
There is anger
There is relentness.
And, everyone says move on
But, how do I move on?
I don't know how to move on.
But, I know you are happy
I know you are good
I know you don't love me
I know you don't even like..
I am just like someone walking on the street that you don't know!
I try not to bother you
I wont bother you
I am not a smart woman for you
I wont bother you
You think I don't care for you
I wont bother you
I am not so beautiful for you
I won't bother you
I wont bother you
But, I cant forget you.

Some things you can only do in US (meaning in most of the developed countries)
1) I never thought I could make chicken. Idea of going to a chicken shop in India and getting it back home is a nightmare. So, I never made chicken and having chicken outside is no cheap.
2) You would think 10 times before wearing a frock or shorts in India. Here, you would think just twice and once I am used to it, I wouldn't even think. Just wear it.
3) You can learn a lot of things here because of the silence, because there are no relatives or parents who need an explanation (even when you are doing something good or learning something new), because everyone around you is encouraging and because of all the unrealized reasons :)
4) I have always managed time. I used to go for morning walks, eat, cook and then go to office. But, it was difficult for me to go anywhere on time. And,even if I was on time, people wouldn't be on time or the meeting wouldn't start on time. But, now, I improved a lot :) because it's disrespect to go late. Because you are expected to be on time. Because you don't want to mess up.
5) Last, but not the least, you will learn how to groom yourself and look nice. You will learn different hairstyles and makeup.
You will learn a lot more than you could ever imagined! Yay!
