Very Calm, Nobody is around..

I would like to say one more time..I guess by this time a lot of pple got bored of my interest in the doors. But, everytime I listen to them I get new thoughts.

Apparently, The Doors Music died with Morrison. The rest of the three members in the band were only the best Players(Keyboardist, Drummist and the Guitaris) But, Jim Created music, gave Lyrics to the music.

Well, I have been Listening to 'The Doors' since 2 hrs. today and obv..I cant stop appreciating their music. It is such an original band, original and the most lively Music.

Some people only see Jim as a drunkard, dopist, etc. But, most importantly, he was an Artist. He read millions of Books since childhood..He graduated from UCLA.

He was a Poet. He was a Movie-maker. He Lived fast, died fast..).

One thing I dont quite understand 'The Doors' recieved so many awards in 2006, 2007 and 2008! The band died in 1971 with Morrison(the rest of the three members in the band, didnt make any new music after Jim's dismissal) Does it mean that pple recognized their music so late? or does it mean that their music continued to be a hit for over 38 yrs now???

Have a Look ath this..

In 2007, The doors recieved Lifetime achievement award.
In 2007, it recieved Grammy Award
In 2008, some of the albums of the Doors were certified as Glod, Silver and Platinum by RIAA(Recording Industry Association of America)
The Doors' "Light My Fire" is ranked #7 on VH1 Greatest Rock Songs, in 2000.
The Doors were the first American Rock-n-Roll band to sell 8 consecutive Gold records....
