This is one of the few indian movies that is unique in many ways.
First of all, the Music is amazing. Great Music from A R Rehman. I believe after Illairaja, Rehman is the best in Indian cinema. Background music is awesome!.
Second, Excellent cinematography.
Ah... I like the hero Prashant. Cool and pleasing.
Not much of a story but. Ignoring that typical south indian melodrama parts, rest all is very fine. Good.

hmm.Nice Movie.
hmm well according to my opinion jeans is a very medicore movie.
the only highlight in the movie is the A.R rehman music.but the rest of it is a real downfall.
this movie was released in 1998 and this movie was nominated for OSCAR for best foriegn movie category !!! when there was great movies realased that year SATYA and astitva .
the reason being that vijay amritraj was one of the producers of the movie !!!
Jeans???? The movie was like blechch!!! Prashanth couldnt act and ash was the epitome of artificialness.
Songs were nice.The graphics for one of them was well done.Cinematography was cool.But in the end,the story was the biggest villian and the main cast were its henchmen.

I liked the background Music, cinematography..and the direction. Except that melodramas and the Aishwarya's acting.
