Avoiding Bird Flu

Yes. Throughly cooked Chicken (at 70c) is safe to eat.
And the same goes for eggs.

When eating out or ordering to go, you can't really tell how the food was cooked.

Apart from most restaurants that sell biryani, I would strongly recommend against having a pizza with poultry meat.

Microwave cooking is also a no-no, since there's uneven heating so you can't be sure if the food was cooked all over at the right temperature.
